Facilities

RMIA's Woodbury facility is a state-of-the-art 'green' facility which was built to minimize VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) which are almost always embryo toxic. The 1,500 square foot RMIA Laboratory Facility is operated as an energy efficient clean room with its air supply totally isolated from the rest of the facility to reduce contamination risk to the lab environment. Efficient Work Flow practices were incorporated in designing the lab layouts and work flow to minimize the time that embryos spend outside the incubators during handling procedures.

In 2008, RMIA opened in Edina another location that currently offers all infertility services up to and including embryo transfer. Oocyte retrieval currently remains centralized in Woodbury.
