Understanding Our Warranty Program

We are invested in your success.  We understand that fertility treatment, especially in vitro fertilization (IVF), has a high cost, and success rates per treatment cycle are not 100%.  While medical literature shows that most patients will eventually be successful with fertility treatment, it’s difficult to predict how long and how many attempts it may take to successfully have a baby in your arms.  To help our patients, we offer programs where the financial risk is shared.  Our program allows patients multiple attempts to continue progressing with treatment until success, your baby, is achieved.  Our fertility cost warranty programs (FCWP) offer eligible patients up to three complete cycles of IVF, with a refundable portion if the patient does not achieve a live birth.  Our warranty programs are popular because they provide peace of mind and allow the opportunity to pursue other options, such as donor eggs or adoption if fertility treatments prove unsuccessful.

Your Success, Defined

Our commitment is to your success. Unlike other clinics that charge fees based on certain milestones like a positive pregnancy test or an early ultrasound, at RMIA, we judge success by what our patients care about most: bringing home their healthy baby.

In-House Management

At RMIA, we take pride in managing our warranty programs in-house rather than relying on outside middlemen. By doing so, we eliminate price markups that an intermediary may impose. This approach enables us to offer IVF warranty programs that are more competitively priced and include a comprehensive range of services. We believe in giving our patients the best value for their investment in fertility treatments.

Multiple Options

We are dedicated to providing exceptional warranty programs tailored to your needs. Our commitment to success is evident in the customizable options we offer. Here are a few examples of how you can customize your warranty program:

  • Flexible Refundable Amounts: We understand that each patient’s situation is unique. That’s why we offer different refundable amounts based on your preferences and requirements.
  • Personalized Monitoring: Whether you are an out-of-town patient or have monitoring coverage, we provide the flexibility to include or exclude monitoring services at your convenience.
  • Low Sperm Amendment (LSA) Option: We offer an exclusive LSA option to ensure that even patients with severe male-factor infertility may have access to the best possible solutions for their fertility journey.
  • Optional Pre-Implantation Genetic Testing (PGT-A) Of Embryos: For those seeking additional peace of mind, we provide the option to include PGT-A, allowing you to make informed decisions about your embryos.

The team at RMIA strives to offer competitive pricing and comprehensive services. We want to ensure your fertility journey is supported with the utmost care and dedication.

Details About Our Program

The following outlines the program costs associated with different age groups. It is essential to remember that the expenses listed here are purely for informational purposes and are subject to potential modifications. To be eligible for these programs, patients must meet all the necessary medical criteria. At RMIA, cycle monitoring encompasses ultrasounds and blood work that are essential for both retrieval and frozen embryo transfers. This is not included with patients who are proceeding without monitoring.

Our warranty programs include up to 3 complete IVF cycles, both fresh and frozen, and include a refundable portion if unsuccessful. Medical criteria must be met to participate in warranty programs. Items included in this program:

  • IVF (egg retrieval, anesthesia, fertilization, fresh embryo transfer)
  • All frozen embryo transfers (if available)
  • ICSI
  • Assisted hatching
  • Extended culture
  • Embryo cryopreservation
  • Embryo storage for 1 year
  • Cycle monitoring at RMIA, such as ultrasounds and blood work in preparation for retrieval or in preparation for frozen embryo transfers

What is not included in this program:

  • Initial consult appointment
  • Fertility or pre-pregnancy screening, including initial ovarian reserve tests, semen analysis, required infectious disease screening tests, etc.
  • Uterine assessment (sonohysterogram) and trial embryo transfer
  • Optional genetic carrier screening
  • Cost of donor sperm or eggs
  • Additional outside consults (Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urology, Reproductive Psychologist) that may be required or advised depending on clinical circumstances

The patient will not receive a bill, and we will accept insurance payments only for the following services performed at our facility:

  • Blood pregnancy tests and confirmation of pregnancy ultrasounds
  • Hyperstimulation checks and treatment (hydration and or fluid aspiration, if performed at RMIA)
  • Repeat sonohysterogram

Our Program Criteria

  • The age of the female patient determines the eligibility for warranty programs at the time of consent signing. The egg retrieval procedure should occur within 30 days and must be completed within 1 year.
  • Once the patient has committed to treatment and scheduled the consent signing within 60 days of the initial pre-screening orders, the program costs are fixed and will not change.
  • Full payment for the program is collected before starting treatment. However, patients have the option to opt out of the warranty program without any penalty after each completed cycle.
