Education

Dr Tana Kim graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Illinois at Champaign Urbana. After receiving her medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin, she completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Minnesota. She completed her reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship and obtained a masters in biomedical sciences at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

Professional Activities

Dr Kim is an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has received multiple awards including the American Academy of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Recognition of Excellence in minimally invasive surgery. She has published and presented both nationally and internationally as a researcher on topics of infertility, obstetrics and gynecology. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI). Dr Kim joined RMIA in September 2020.

Practice Interests

In vitro fertilization, preimplantation genetic testing, fertility preservation, recurrent pregnancy loss, diminished ovarian reserve and male factor infertility. She believes in providing an individualized approach to fertility care. She combines her clinical expertise and compassion to provide the best care for her patients.

Personal Interests

When Dr Kim is not working, she enjoys walk/runs along the Stone Arch Bridge, weekend pastries at Bellecour, exploring the Twin Cities restaurant scene, stand-up comedy and documentaries.
